The program is in 30 lessons. Each lesson lasts for 1 hour.
If the student know the IPA chart already, the teacher can skip the Pronunciation part. Each pronunciation unit will be taught in max 1 lesson.
Each communication unit can be taught in 1-2 lessons. You try your best to finish all the lesson in the program. The teacher starts the lesson from where they stopped last time. The teacher must finish at least 80% knowledge of the program. (In any special situation, please inform teaching assistant)
The students have to study the new words in advance and after each unit, they have to do the homework on EWise system to review the lesson. The teacher only needs to check the new word, the teaching assistant will remind the student to do the homework. With the learners who don’t look up the new words, remind them and tell them to search new words regularly before the lesson
In the new word slide, the teacher encourage the student to make a sentence.
In listening part, teacher let the student listen twice. The teacher asks students to speak out loud the questions/ transcript to understand (play role if possible) .
In speaking part, we encourage the teacher to ask outside question which is related to the students.
In grammar part, we don’t really focus on grammar. Just guide them on class and then they will do homework at home to practise more.
